Secret Garden Gin Geranium & Mallow Scotland 500ml

Founded in 2012 by Hamish Martin and his wife Liberty in Edinburgh. The Secret Herb Garden has over 600 naturally grown and tended varieties of herbs. As a Herbologist, Hamish spent his time experimenting with the botanicals he so carefully and lovingly nurtured. With his knowledge and his past in the drinks industry, Hamish created a range of 100% natural gins, using the botanicals he had grown in his own sacred space. They grow, pick, dry and infuse all of the incredible herbs by hand. They then harness the magical properties of the flowers and herbs through a natural distillation process, creating glorious floral gin that is 100% natural, with no additives, flavours or colouring, just nature distilled.

The four botanicals- Juniper, Coriander, Angelica root and Winter Savory, offer a smooth, elegant and light base gin, then they add the freshly distilled Geraniums - this is a plant that is so rich in aromas, with scents of warm tropical air, fresh green tea and floral tones that are reminiscent of roses and jasmine intermingled - these distilled flowers are then added to the gin where all these characteristics are enriched and enhanced to produce a rich, heady but beautifully balanced, soft texture and flavored gin. Then the hand-harvested and dried Mallow flowers are infused, these flowers can only be collected when the sun is out and so opening the flowers completely to give a nearly clear spirit which then turns the most elegant pink when tonic is added.
