Story
Foundedin 2012 by Hamish Martin and his wife Liberty in Edinburgh. The Secret HerbGarden has over 600 naturally grown and tended varieties of herbs. As aHerbologist, Hamish spent his time experimenting with the botanicals he socarefully and lovingly nurtured. With his knowledge and his past in the drinksindustry, Hamish created a range of 100% natural gins, using the botanicals hehad grown in his own sacred space. They grow, pick, dry and infuse all of theincredible herbs by hand. They then harness the magical properties of theflowers and herbs through a natural distillation process, creating gloriousfloral gin that is 100% natural, with no additives, flavours or colouring, justnature distilled.
Their Apocathery Rose Ginis not only 100% natural, made using botanicals grown in their very own garden, but it also contains a chemical component that reacts with citric acid in tonicwater to magically change color. The backbone for this gin is Juniper andCoriander where the seeds and berries are lightly crushed, Angelica root andAngelica leaf are used in conjunction with Winter Savory, a plant notdissimilar to Rosemary but with more subtle notes. Those botanicals offer asmooth, delicate and fresh base gin.
