Story
Paul Pernot founded in 1959, with about 10 hectares, most of which had been in the family for almost 200 years. Today, his sons Paul and Michel manage 20 hectares of vineyards, of which 15 are in the Puligny-Montrachet, including two grand crus - Bâtard Montrachet and Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet, as well as top premier crus: Les Champs-Canet, Les Folatières, Clos de La Garenne and Les Pucelles. They also produce a small quantity of red wine, from the precious very old vines.
Vinification and Ageing
Whole-cluster pressed, barrel fermented and matured for some 11 months, with bottling before the next harvest.
