Description
Campari is an Italian alcoholic liqueur, considered an apéritif, of the amaro variety, obtained from the infusion of herbs and fruit in alcohol and water. It is a type of bitters, characterized by its dark red color.

Camapri & Aperol: What is the difference?
Campari is a deep red and is 20.5 to 28.5%, which is twice that of Aperol. Aperol is orange color, sweeter than Campari and has around 11 percent ABV level.

The best cocktails to make with Campari
Negroni
  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Garnish: orange peel
Steps:
  1. Add the gin, Campari and sweet vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
  3. Garnish with an orange peel.
